However can't blame Crouch for trousering what it would take most of the population at least 5 years to earn if he's offered it. He'd be a fucking idiot to turn it down.

The blokes a character so he's at a premium these days on the 'funny footballer' side of things. The game is missing a good few more of his type and he will, therefore, be in short term demand for advertising agencies and the like.

His arms are "too long"? He's 6'7" tall. If shorter, he wouldn't be able to reach his pockets.

I know he played for THEM , but he's a solid pro. Wish we'd signed him instead of Carroll!

For all we know he could give the fee to charity. He's a footballer not an artist, so has no artistic integrity to protect. He'll be on strictly come dancing at some point I'd have thought, might be worth watching if the gangly cunt is on there making a fool of himself, probably doesn't take himself too seriously.
